Metonymic sequence - everything we’ve been unconsciously burdened with by previous generations and what we will burden future ones with, consisting of symbols which are powerful, yet difficult to understand.

Third eye - external image generation apparatus, new way of seeing, photography as status of the object.

The exhibition is a collection of works by artists of many generations, presenting how different ways of thinking, seeing and generating images transcend generational boundaries, as well as those between the artist and the spectator. The works are connected by the radicality of their origins and the avant-garde, extra-ordinary use of photography as a medium.
While some of the correlations between those artworks are direct, others are completely illusory - we encourage you to look for them all.
Metonymies coming up as the result of that search are personal to a degree that can even reveal the privacy of each spectator.

The exhibition is dedicated to the late Krzysztof Wojciechowski.
